I'm happy to announce that, at long last, I have released the pattern for my favourite handspun socks. These babies are a simple go-to cuff down pattern written for handspinners and beginning sock knitters. They're pleasantly unisex and knit up quickly.
My favourite thing about the pattern is that it is written in eight sizes - it will fit everyone from babies to grown men. It also has instructions to use those sizes with four different yarn weights for an average sized ladies' sock. I wanted a pattern for all spinners, not just the ones who have mastered the fingering weight three-ply that so many of us strive for.
I made this pair for me, but my gorgeous sister was kind enough to model them (while subtly hinting that she could happily have a pair of her own).
I also have a second pair in the works for Rei - they're the third smallest size and they fit her four year old feet perfectly.
The pattern is packed with advice and tips, based on much research and several years of experience knitting and spinning for socks.
I'd love if you could go check it out on Ravelry!
