Good gracious it's been busy around here. One of the reasons is because I've poured my little extra time into getting a few patterns out into the design world. This is my first ever matching set!
The March Hare Hat and March Hare Mitts feature the same cute sideways knit edging, and pick up from there. The hat uses a unique crown decrease method that is both flattering and interesting to knit: pleats! The mitts have a tidy cord edging that mimics the welting in the cuff. Both are finished with fluffy pom poms, for a bit of on-trend whimsy.
The patterns are available singly, or together for a reduced price, all in my Ravelry pattern store.
The suggested yarn, Touring DK from Unwind Yarn Company, is a delight to work with. The rich, hand dyed colours add an extra artisanal touch to your knitting. Use one skein each of two co-ordinating colours to make the whole set! I used Goldenrod and Natural.
Thanks for checking them out!
